Hello flower friends! We wanted to notify the community that our shop is going to be an ongoing signing location for the petition to ban hyper scale data centers. If you’d like to sign the petition, please first make sure you’re registered to vote and that your current address matches what the BOE has on file. You can do this at the link below. Feel free to stop in at the flower shop Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays 11:00-4:00 or Wednesdays and Saturdays 11:00-1:00.

This petition seeks to amend the Ohio Constitution in order to ban the construction of data centers that consume over 25 megawatts (MW) of energy per month. 25 MW is the threshold between a manageable, community-friendly facility and an industrial scale data center that can use as much power as a small town. Our petition simply says that anything bigger than 25 MW should be prohibited. Ohio already has approximately 200 data centers and does not need any more.
