Absolutely do not verify any personal information, not your name, address, anything.
So what do you do? Do these two things.
Say "representative" repeatedly and when you get a human ask for the name and address of their business(you can sue them for harassment if you get that info)..you can also tell them to email you their links or their requests . to a govt website such as ftc.gov. Or you can have fun and put the ftc in your response with a tag

The major issue with buy/sell groups and even groups that are for crafts, pets, vegetables or whatever is simply this. Admins don't have time to monitor every post for scammers and some groups are even made by scammers...want to keep your money safe? Let us know what posts you think are a scam...no charge...we hate scammers...they ruin opportunities for real business..true artists and anyone else trying to honestly make a living. We can't remove the posts but we sure can tell you if you should click the link..
