Pastor Sherard's sermon, "Edify," continues the series "Faith Refracted" and is based on 1 Corinthians 8:1-13 in which Paul answers the Corinthians' question, "Is it okay to eat food that has been sacrificed to idols?" Come and find out!

This Sunday, Pastor Sherard is starting a sermon series based on readings from Paul's letters to the church in Corinth. As followers of Christ, how do we need to "bend" our faith to better reflect our relationship with God? NCC Worship at 9am; Sanctuary Worship at 11am.

What is going on this week? First of all, it is the 3rd Sunday of Advent and we're lighting the PINK candle. Why pink? b/c "gaudete."
Second, Pastor Sherard is continuing "Christmas Through the Eyes of Mary" and looking at the passage known as Mary's Magnificat (Latin for "make mega") . Why did Mary claim to be "favored"?

Week 3 of the New Covenant Community continues the Sermon Series "What's New About the New Covenant." This Sunday, we'll center on the text John 3:16 and take a deep dive into what exactly a covenant is. We'll find out why the New Covenant is so extraordinary. Join us at 9am.

This week at New Covenant Community, Pastor Sherard will continue the sermon series, "What's New About the New Covenant," looking at the prophesy of Jeremiah 31:27-34 where God declares, "I will make a NEW covenant."
