This week, our Technology Services team and county staff are participating in specialized Cyber training. This intensive program integrates cybersecurity personnel into the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) for cyber incidents.
By bridging the gap between IT expertise and emergency management, we are ensuring Warren County is ready to rapidly respond to, mitigate, and recover from complex cyber threats.

Proactive prep in action! This week, Warren County’s Paul Kindell (Director of Telecom) & Sydney Renner (Warren County EMA) led a public safety drill, transferring Paul Kindell's 36 years of expertise to our Tech Services units. This "all hands on deck" move ensures seamless system continuity for any emergency.

The Warren County Technology Services team proactively expanded their digital security expertise to include critical physical safety through expert instruction from the Warren County EMA and the Warren County Health District. Led by Jenny McCoy, Marissa Bergman, Christa Hyson, France Ficke, and Ken Williams, this training is essential because it equips IT professionals to stay calm and act decisively during high-stress crises, such as medical emergencies. By mastering hands-on response skills, the team can now minimize injuries, ensuring that critical county infrastructure remains resilient even during unexpected events.
