Morning meetings on the homestead can sometimes get heated.
Male muscovies communicate with a deeper coo, head bobs, and lots of tail wagging.
People have asked what sounds a makes since they don’t quack. These are the typical sounds a female makes. We call them coos and chirps. Mama Evie is the best duck mama we’ve had. She has hatched 14 in this nest with 2 eggs remaining. At least one of those is actively hatching. Can you spot the one that doesn’t belong? She also hatched 2 turkey poults in this nest.

Fresh whole farm raised chickens coming your way tomorrow. They’re delicious any way you want to cook them. They’ll be shrink wrapped and ready for your fridge, freezer, or to cook and enjoy. Message us if you’re interested. We have a limited supply.

We’ve got organically grown red and green romaine lettuce ready to harvest. $1/head. Let us know if you want some lettuce. Grab a whole chicken while you’re here!

We're processing more chickens this week (5/15/26). We raise cornish cross chickens on fresh grass and all-natural feed. They are moved daily to ensure constant access to fresh grass. We've got around 25 available at $25/whole bird with bird weights ranging between 5-7 lbs. Birds will be completely processed and shrink wrapped. They're ready for your freezer or straight to your grill. Pickup is available Friday afternoon. I can make some local deliveries over the weekend as well. Message me if you're interested.
We’re a small farm located in Lebanon, TN. We raise chickens for eggs and meat, ducks, and turkeys. We also produce lots of fruits and veggies in the spring and summer months. If you live locally to us, follow us for local farm fresh goods for sale. We’ll sell turkey poults and ducklings in the spring as well. We have Muscovy ducklings available Spring 2026. Muscovies are a great addition to your chicken flock to help with fly control. They are quiet ducks. They don’t “quack” like a traditional duck. They “coo” and chatter quietly. Muscovies are friendly and will wag their tales when they’re happy or excited. They do need access to bathing water. We find that kiddie pools work great. They are our favorite addition to our little farm. Let us know if you’re interested in purchasing some ducks!
