Today, the children worked so hard to decorate 20 boxes that will hold enough food to provide Thanksgiving Meals to 20 families this year. 🥧 🧡🍂

🌟Kindness Club 🌟

RISE assembled some pretty special gifts yesterday for...the Bible class teachers who help train and instruct our youth at Highland Heights. (Thank you to all the parents who are always eager to roll up their sleeves and help. They literally walk in and say, "Tell us what needs to be done." 🙏♥️)

Mr Jeremy talked with them about the story in Acts 8 before we began to assemble the gifts. Philip had asked the Ethiopian if he understood what he was reading (he was reading in Isaiah). The Ethiopian responded with, "How can I, unless someone instructs me?" Then verse 35 tells us that Philip shared with him the good news of Jesus.

We are SO THANKFUL for the teachers who, not only share that good news with the children here at HH, but they use their talents to get the children excited about that good news, which is something we know is making a huge impact in the kingdom of our Lord.

🌟You should get your gift in your classroom when you teach next. If you aren't on rotation this quarter, one of these sweet little children will come find you. 😍

Today the children worked on a special project for Father's Day. We can't wait to show you! These kids are so giving, loving and eager to share kindness with others. (And I have a strong feeling they learned a lot of it from their parents ♥️)

Today, RISE made a special treat for each of the mothers at HH. We can't wait to pass them out the morning of Mothers' Day. ❤️

Thank you, Chris, Sheena, Jason, Heather, Kayla and others who helped. We couldn't do this without all the helping hands and generous hearts we have at HH 🙏

All these sweet ladies did a fabulous job on their paintings today. What a fun time we had!!

🏆HEROES OF FAITH🏆

RISE had an opportunity over the last few weeks to research a hero of faith from God's Word. Today, they got into costume and presented all they learned. They all did a FANTASTIC job. Thank you, Lisa, for the fun games. Thank you to all our friends who came to support them. 🙏

🌟Kindness Club🌟

Today, we made appreciation bags for our local law enforcement officers and firemen. We talked about showing kindness and thankfulness to those who put their lives on the line to keep us safe and help us in times of trouble.

Thank you Lisa and Nancy for gathering the supplies. Thank you to Jenny for getting the firemen there so we could thank them in person. Thank you to the parents who helped with assembly and cleanup.

You all are truly amazing. ❤️

🌟Kindness Club🌟

-We actually worked on two projects of kindness today.
1. We assembled gift bags and wrote notes for the children in Costa Rica for the mission team to take with them.
2. We used the flower pots RISE painted a while ago to create special gifts for some dear members of our congregation at HH.
