Today’s Story:
Nothing gets me out of a funk like a photoshoot. Today I literally decided I wanted to just wear a trash bag bc I had been made to feel like such trash lately. Trash that people could just so easily throw away without a thought. I wore that trash bag out to dinner as my personal statement to remind myself that even if other people see me as trash, the only thing that matters is how I see myself. I needed that moment… I needed it for me… to try and reclaim a little of the self-esteem that I lost over the past couple of weeks. Now this trash bag hangs in my wardrobe as the most expensive dinner dress that I own (out ranking the $3,100 gallery dress from this past January) bc of what it did for my self-worth and bc of this amazing impromptu shot captured by the legendary Scott Church in the middle of dinner.

Today’s Mantra: F**k anyone who doesn’t see the worth that I see in myself. We are no longer on the same timeline. Enjoy your mediocrity motherf**kers!
