The difference between an “okay” spray tan and an AMAZING spray tan is usually PREP + AFTERCARE.
Here’s how to get the best, longest-lasting results:

BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT:
✔ Exfoliate 24 hours before
✔ Shave 12–24 hours before
✔ Use a basic residue-free soap
✔ No lotion, oils, deodorant, makeup, or perfume
✔ Massage, waxing, manicures & pedicures should ALL be done BEFORE your tan — not after

WHAT TO WEAR:
✔ Dark, loose clothing
✔ Flip flops or sandals
✔ Avoid tight bras/leggings immediately after your tan

AFTER YOUR TAN:
✔ Your first rinse is WARM WATER ONLY
(No soap — you’re just rinsing off the cosmetic bronzer)
✔ Your tan continues developing for a full 24 hours after your appointment
(The true final color sets during that time)
✔ Pat/blot dry with your towel. DO NOT scrub or rub
✔ Avoid loofahs, washcloths, exfoliating gloves, and scrubs while your tan lasts
✔ Swimming, hot tubs, long hot baths, and chlorine will fade your tan MUCH faster
✔ Moisturize TWICE daily, morning + evening

Recommended lotions:

• CeraVe Daily Moisturizing Lotion
• Lubriderm Advanced Therapy Fragrance-Free
✔ Drink LOTS of water 💧
• Dry skin kills a spray tan.

The products you use on your skin can make a huge difference in how your tan develops, fades, and lasts. Some soaps leave behind residue or oils that block absorption and create patchy results.
