When you purchase one of these PA 4‑H Shooting Sports totes, you’re supporting youth opportunities, volunteer training, and statewide programming. Our Lebanon County 4-H Shooting Sports program is still one of the newest 4-H programs in the county, but it’s expanding quickly, and every bit of support helps keep that growth strong. 🍀🎯

The 2026 Areas 8, 9 & 10 Regional 4‑H Fashion & Textile R***e Contests are coming up this summer! This event is a great opportunity for 4‑H members to showcase their creativity, skills, and hard work in a supportive and educational environment.

👗🧶 Who can participate?
4‑H members ages 8–18 (as of January 1) enrolled in fashion design, sewing & textiles, or fiber arts projects from the following counties: Adams, Berks, Bucks, Chester, Cumberland, Dauphin, Delaware, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Northampton, Perry, Philadelphia, Schuylkill, and York.
✅ Members may participate in both Fashion R***e and Textile R***e contests.
✅ Participants will present their items to judges, with both the item and presentation evaluated.

Working on your livestock or dairy 4‑H record book? We’re here to help! Join us for an upcoming Lebanon County 4‑H Record Book Clinic & Open House.

🗓 Tuesday, May 12
⏰ 6:30–8:30 PM
📍 Lebanon County Extension Office Classrooms; 2120 Cornwall Road, Lebanon

✨ What to Expect:
🐮 6:30–7:00 PM – A short educational session covering the Animal Information and Production Records sections of the PA 4‑H Dairy and Livestock Record Books.
📘 7:00–8:30 PM – Open house–style drop‑in time where members can bring their livestock or dairy record books and get one‑on‑one help from volunteers and staff.

• Make sure your 4-H livestock or dairy record book is on the right track
• Learn helpful tips to make record keeping easier

You’re welcome to attend the entire evening or just stop by during the open house portion. Parents are welcome to attend with members.

The 4‑H Animal Bowl & Skillathon Day is coming up May 30 at University Park. Be sure to register in zSuite by April 30!

Registration is now open for Animal Science Bowl & Skillathon Contests!

The event will be held on May 30 at University Park. The event is open to 4-H'ers ages 10 and up.

Available contests are: Avian Bowl, Canine Bowl & Skillathon, Dairy Bowl, Hippology (equine skillathon), Horse Bowl, Livestock Skillathon, and Rabbit & Cavy Bowl & Skillathon. All contests except for Canine and Rabbit offer senior competitors (14 and up) the opportunity to qualify for national competition.

Please note, a screened coach must register to chaperone each team and a parent or screened volunteer must register to chaperone each youth competing as an individual. Families must know the name of their child's teammates and coach(es) to register. Registration closes on April 30.

🍀 Lebanon County Proclaims Pennsylvania 4‑H Week! 🍀

This morning, March 19, 2026, the Lebanon County Commissioners officially proclaimed Pennsylvania 4‑H Week in Lebanon County, recognizing the nation’s largest youth development organization and the incredible impact 4‑H has on youth ages 5–18.

The proclamation highlights how 4‑H helps young people become confident, independent, resilient, and compassionate leaders; how hands‑on learning supports growth in areas like STEM, animal science, civic engagement, and health; and how volunteers and educators across Pennsylvania empower youth with opportunities for leadership, problem‑solving, friendship, and service.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us to celebrate the positive impact of 4‑H in our county! 🎉
