“Satan’s Most Dangerous Disguise”
2 Corinthians 11:14

Most people imagine the devil as an obvious enemy—something dark, frightening, and easy to recognize. But Scripture reveals a far more dangerous reality: “Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.”

The enemy’s greatest deception is not always open rebellion against God. Often it comes disguised as religion, spirituality, and even Christian language. Satan does not mind religion if it keeps people from the truth of the Gospel. He is content with worship without Scripture, morality without righteousness, spirituality without doctrine, and a version of Jesus that minimizes His saving work.

The devil’s masterpiece is not atheism, but counterfeit Christianity that clouds the Gospel and leaves sinners trusting in something other than Christ alone.

Join us this Sunday as we examine God’s warning about spiritual deception and discover how to discern truth in a world filled with religious confusion. We’ll see why the answer is not more religion, but a genuine relationship with Jesus Christ through the Gospel.

“And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.” — 2 Corinthians 11:14

Most people imagine the devil as an obvious enemy—horns, a pitchfork, and a clear warning sign that danger is near. But the Bible presents a far different picture.

Scripture warns that Satan’s greatest deception is not appearing in darkness, but disguising himself as an angel of light.

Not always through open rebellion.
Sometimes through religious language.
Sometimes through convincing voices.
Sometimes through teachings that sound spiritual but slowly move people away from the truth of God’s Word.

How can we recognize the difference between truth and deception? How do we guard ourselves against teachings that appear right but ultimately diminish Christ, muddy the gospel, or place people back into spiritual bo***ge?

Join us this Sunday as we examine 2 Corinthians 11:14 and discover what the Bible teaches about spiritual deception, discernment, and staying grounded in the truth of Jesus Christ.

We would love to have you worship with us and hear this important message from God’s Word.

A teachable spirit is the posture of every true disciple. Scripture reminds us that “the wise in heart will receive commandments” and that those who humble themselves before the Lord will be instructed in His ways. In a generation filled with pride, self-will, and hardened hearts, God is still searching for believers who are willing to listen, learn, and grow.

Join us for this powerful sermon Sunday 10:30 as we explore why every believer must remain teachable before God — open to correction, sensitive to instruction, and eager for spiritual growth. A teachable spirit invites wisdom, produces maturity, and positions us for greater use in the Kingdom of God.
