Aaaand we're off! Summer Reading is finally here! We have some incredible grand prize raffles for every age group, so stop by to sign up any time starting this week. If you come Monday you'll find some fun and games and a little visit from a prehistoric pal of ours!

Monday is also the first day to sign up for our teen Book vs. Movie Club meeting on the 25th. Pick up a free copy of Jurassic Park while supplies last and then join us to watch the movie and compare!

Then Friday adults and teens can stop by the Youth Services Desk to pick up their kits to enter our Teeny Tiny Art Show. Create your masterwork on a 2x2 inch canvas, then drop it off and join us for the extremely fancy exhibition of the 25th!

Bad news folks: Due to unexpected issues, we will not be able to hold our weekly ESL Conversation Club tonight (May 29th). We're sorry for the inconvenience, and hope to see you next week!

Summer Reading Kickoff: Dinos in the Park!

Roar into summer with us! This year’s Summer Reading theme is Dinosaurs, and we’re teaming up with our friends at the Leander Public Library to bring you an epic kickoff event.

Join us for Dinos in the Park, a FREE community movie night to kick off a summer full of reading and prehistoric fun!

Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, snacks, and dino‑sized excitement as we watch Jurassic Park (1993, PG-13) under the stars! 🌌🎬

Please note: Jurassic Park is rated PG-13 and includes suspenseful scenes that may not be suitable for younger viewers. Parental discretion is advised.

Calling all teens! We've got some pop-up volunteer opportunities for you this week!

Come by Thursday the 28th from 4-6:00 pm or Saturday the 30th from 1-3:00 pm to help us prep craft materials, summer reading materials, and more!

Exciting event coming up next week for our adult community members!

June 3rd at 2:00 pm stop by the library for a little mid-day art break. Creativity guru Maria Gatling will lead us in a watercolor workshop, covering the basics of technique and helping you find ways to get your imagination flowing. No experience necessary.

Supplies will be provided but paint palettes are limited and will be distributed on a first-come-first-served basis.

May has gone by so quickly but we're so excited for summer reading! The theme this year is Unearth A Story and--

Wait a minute, is your glass of water rippling rhythmically? Do you hear a distant stomp growing ever closer? Your spoonful of Jello is jiggling erratically, is there a lizard-like shadow lurking behind me?! You know what that means...

That's right, to celebrate the beginning of summer reading we are unleashing dinosaurs into Bledsoe Park in the form out an outside screening of Jurassic Park! Come enjoy this beloved classic with us in the fresh air!

Holy moly, we did it! We've successfully completed our first puzzle as a community at large!

The only thing sweeter than working together towards a common goal is of course...ice cream! Grab yourself a cone, Leander, you've earned it!

Stop by to piece together the new puzzle when you can!

As you may have known or suspected, the library will be closed this coming Monday, May 25th in honor of Memorial Day.

Happy Sunday, friends! Today is World Baking Day so it's a great opportunity to make yourself something sweet...or hit up the HEB bakery section (shout out to their fudge and cream cheese brownies).
