The hardest part about making dinner is remembering to defrost the meat! Meat and veggies is my dinner š„
Low carb dinner for one example! Made in one pot. I cooked the seasoned steak in a bit of butter and then removed the steak and added a little water to finished steaming the veggies. It was perfection!!! Steak, garlic, onions, green beans, Brussels and salt š only took about 20 mins or so to cook dinner
I made dinner in 20 minutes with zero oil and one pan. Hereās exactly what I did. š
I grabbed whatever I had on hand:
Brussels sprouts, carrots, jalapeƱo, a ton of garlic, green beans, red and orange peppers, and Kirkland Italian mild sausage from Costco.
I threw it ALL into a dry pan on medium-high heat. No oil. Just let it sit and brown for about 10 minutes ā that browning is where all the flavor comes from. Donāt rush it.
Then I added some water, put the lid on, and let everything steam for another 8ā10 minutes until the veggies were tender and the sausage was cooked through.
Finished it with fajita seasoning and pink salt. Thatās it.
One pan. One cleanup. About 20 minutes start to finish.
It was colorful, filling, and honestly one of the best things Iāve made in a while ā and I didnāt follow a single recipe. I just used what I had.
This is the kind of simple, clean cooking Iām going to be sharing a lot more of here.
No complicated ingredient lists. No specialty store runs. Just real food that actually works for a busy life.
