Our hearts are with the Round Rock Fire Department after the loss of Fire Driver Zach French. The bonds formed in the fire service run deep, and the loss of one of our own is felt by departments and communities far beyond city limits.

We ask for our community to be in prayer for the family, friends and colleagues as they navigate through this tragedy.

Learning CPR, how to use an AED or basic first aid skills can help you respond confidently if a loved one, coworker, neighbor or even a stranger needs help.

WCEMS is offering two community training classes this Saturday, May 16, at 3189 SE Inner Loop in Georgetown:

The US National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio Texas has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Williamson County until 9:30 p.m. on Sunday, May 10.

Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts are possible with these storms.
