Not often you get surprised... What was thought to be simple live edge young growth random slabs, turns into GORGEOUS red oak... What a treat!

Really loving the way this toy chest came out. It's going to a 1yr old for his birthday and hopefully will be passed down for generations. Constructed of 100+ year old reclaimed tongue and groove flooring and lined in cedar.

When you have so much jewelry, a box just ain't enough anymore...

A little contest for all y'all today. Just finished this piece, made from reclaimed lumber from a house on the Texas Historical Registry in Georgetown. This wood is almost 100 years old, and this thing is 16' long! I used all traditional methods, like the through mortise and tenon joints with dowel pins.

What is it you ask? Well that's for you to tell me. First person to correctly identify this piece gets $25 of a $200 or more piece of their choosing. Here's a little caviat (and hint), if you are from our have lived in SC, you are ineligible, but I've got something special for y'all too!

What do you do when your 4 year old has no room to play in her bedroom? You have me make a cool loft bed and open up the entire floor for maximum play space! The funny thing... now she plays IN her bed, whereas she never used to.
