Horses are so big and strong, but somehow they can be the sweetest little souls 🥹🐴

Bro is fighting demons (the itch)

What if your horse’s DNA could tell you more?

We’re bringing some seriously cool science into horse breeding. No more guessing.

There’s a lot more hiding in your horse’s DNA than their breed and color. Our genomic analysis looks at five areas that can give you a deeper look at what your horse is genetically built for:

1. Muscle & movement
Genetics tied to muscle development, power, speed, and movement.

2. Neurological & behavior
Genetic factors that may influence how anxious, reactive, or spooky your horse can be.

3. Metabolism, mitochondria & energy
How your horse is genetically wired to produce energy, use fuel, and keep going when the pressure is on.

4. Skeletal & structure
Genetic factors related to bones, joints, and the structure behind every turn, stop, and stride.

5. Cardio & respiratory
Genetics related to the heart, lungs, oxygen delivery, and how your horse handles physical demand.

Do you love mares as much as we do? 🐴🤍

just horses? they’re the most beautiful creatures on earth

Out of all of the horses we have looked at using our full DNA genomic analysis HP Hotrod at Highpoint Performance Horses is one whose genetics were an outlier. Many of his genes associated with muscle, mitochondria and performance had genetic mutations consistent with him being not only unique among quarter horses but elite among elite performers. We have bought multiple breeding contracts to HP Hotrod based on this.

We definitely recommend him for your next breeding especially if you have non-Dash mare to outbreed him to.

Don’t let the horses distract you! This is our first “what’s in my bag?” video with Josie Zayner
