With it being Veterinary Appreciation Day, we thought it would be a good time to announce that Dr. Fawcett is retiring on July 3rd. He has been with Layton Vet for 36 years! We are feeling bittersweet because while the staff will be sad to see him leave, we are happy and excited for his retirement journey.
Please comment any memories, fun stories, pictures, well wishes, etc and we will pass them on!

June is National Microchipping Month!
Microchips are small and takes seconds to implant, but they are a valuable tool to help reunite pets if they ever get lost. Now is a great time to think about getting your pet microchipped before the fireworks season kicks off.

Hops and Lulu came in recently to get heartworm tested and their Proheart injections. They were SO good!
Currently, heartworm tests and Proheart injections (12 month heartworm prevention shot) are on sale until June 30. Heartworms are spread by mosquitoes and we recommend regular testing and preventatives.
We hope everyone has a good Memorial Day! We are closed today in observance of the holiday.
