My name is Amber and I am the owner/photographer behind AM Photography (www.amber-amphotography.com). I first learned to knit to supplement my ever growing prop stash as buying props was becoming way too expensive. My shop name comes from my one and only daughter who earned the moniker 'Silly Goose' at a young age. As she grew older, she would pronounce it 'Silly Gus', thus giving me the inspiration for 'Silly Gus Designs'

I’m baaaaack!
I took a very long hiatus in 2020. I wish I could say I spent most of that time working on my mental health and re-stocking the shop...but in reality, we had BIG changes (bought a house and moved, promoted to a new position at my day job, and dealt with the negativity COVID brought). It was a rough year for a lot of us and even though it’s almost May 2021, I’m finally ready to get back in the groove! ❤️
I’ve got SO many new items coming to the shop and lot of items are going to be marked down significantly! Gotta clear out my inventory to make room for all the new pretties!! 😁

Super sweet little Kiyaan was having a hard time settling in this bucket, and because safety is absolutely always my number one priority, I wasn't willing to do this shot any other way than to edit out mom's hand as she supported baby's head.
Does it require longer, extra editing? Yep. Do I mind one little bit? Nope!
When it comes to keeping your little ones safe, I will and do do whatever is necessary. Like I told mom as she supported baby's head "ruin my shot".
By this I meant that if, at any point, mom felt baby moving at all, she was to put her hand fully on baby's head.
A picture is not worth baby's safety.
Okay, okay - now that I'm done with today's safety spiel - can we take a minute to ooh and aw over the incredible cuteness of baby K?
