🌎 🇫🇷 ✈️ My Kaiza has successfully reached their final year of the French Dual Immersion program! This milestone culminates 12 years of dedication and hard work. As a reward, Kaiza will embark on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to France, Brittany, and Normandy in June 2026. To make this experience a reality, Kaiza has worked diligently over the past two years to raise funds and has $2000 remaining to reach their goal. Any contributions would be greatly appreciated and utilized directly to cover expenses. Alternatively, sharing this information with friends and family would be incredibly helpful.

Yesterday was my sister’s birthday. She loves Ding Dongs! A few months back she mentioned how she wished she had a giant one to eat. So challenge accepted! So fun to make and fits her perfectly….. Happy Birthday, Giovanna! 🎉🎂🎈

It’s that time again, when the State comes after me for all their money!! 💰💴😜

Here’s a friendly reminder ….. Your home-based food establishment (cake artist, bakery, etc) should be able to provide for you, at your request, these 5 things:

1. Proof of Registration with UDAF
2. Valid UT Food Handlers Permit
3. Signed UDAF Inspection Report - passing
4. Ingredients lists for every item on their menu
5. Allergen information for every recipe

If they do not have these 3 government documents along with properly formatted (yes, that’s a thing!) ingredients/allergen lists it means their kitchen has not been inspected by the State of Utah for safety, cleanliness, and proper food handling/storage. It means they have not taken the courses required to prevent the spread of foodborne illness and disease. It means they have not submitted the proper applications to be registered as a State Regulated Cottage Food Establishment. It means they have not submitted every recipe for approval to serve to the public.

It means they are operating an illegal and unsafe business. Unregulated home-based food establishments are dangerous to you and all who eat their products!

Utah has many talented cake artists with mad skill that do incredible work. Please make sure they put as much importance toward ensuring your safety as they do in the works of art they create!!! That Is All! 🎂🧁🎉

Of all the cakes I’ve had the opportunity to do, this one is probably the most special as it was for my baby sister!! Congrats Stefania and Josiah!!

Heart-shaped and traditional filigree piping made this wedding cake so unique! Raspberry filling made it delicious, and the bride and groom made it memorable! Thanks for letting me be part of your big day! CONGRATS Kaylen and Ethan!
