This week should be love and show gratitude to oneself week...really. We focus so much on how to show love to others: what do we love about others, how do we make others feel loved.... but when do we do the same thing for ourselves. We should take note, self evaluate, and really see...what do I love about me. Please share your own! It would be so good to spread self love for Valentines day! Imagine how the world would look with more love and less fear which = hate. You get what you put out. Love is an action, not simply just a feeling.

See how this works, so our first step is to be loving to ourselves. So, maybe for the week we start off simple....because we all know that it's a challenge at times, and sometimes awkward, to truly love oneself. Let's pick one thing a day that we love or appreciate about ourselves

For Monday: I love that I am massively and inherently honest. It gets me into trouble at times. if I know the truth will hurt someone, I may avoid them all together in order to avoid their hurt... that has been something I am working on.. or i can come off as blunt or intimidating, so i am told. Most times overall I am pretty good at keeping communication soft. But it comes with some good lessons for myself, that keep me humble that is for sure.

When the girls go a Lil bit psycho for Chick day! oh my 😆 🤣 what on earth am I going to do when they graduate up from their quarantine bins....must watch face in open front enclosures 😄

When you can't turn down a pure Hog Island male that you've been waiting for...and luckily have no one in quarantine anymore lol 😆 😂

Anyone else love baby SuperCobras 😆 🤣 😂

To say this kiddo stands out is an understatement! A little Het here and a little het there....pos het here ...het het everywhere :-)

He was told he was a girl for all his life, until he found a home here, now he is the biggest flirt around 😆 🤣

This may not look like much...except a cute squish face, but this boy is a prime example of why a pet owners/keepers should have alot of tools in their toolbox! He was shipped from the UK, and was slightly cramped but traveled well. I keep my Hogs on Sanichip, which is a fine Aspen. This kiddo ran and ran and ran, and eventhough we always start off in smaller quarantine bins, he obviously was anxious, regardless of how many hides he has, and would not eat, and was puffed up and striking the front of the bin non stop. Now, I have hogs who are borrowers and others who do not at all and have zero interest in burrowing. In animal psychology, most anxiety does stem from insecurities. So, I swapped his bin to a larger bin with deep deep thick cut Aspen bedding to burrow in, and a ton of paper towel rolls topped onto the top. 48 hours later he ate, and a week later zero huffy and striking. Now I can go into his bin or clean everyone else and he sits and watches calmly. Some people may take the "he just needs to deal with what I provide" approach....which would definitely make him less fun to interact with. With animals that aren't necessarily domestic...that doesn't quite work. We need compromise ❤️

How sweet is this pretty girl. She's going into quarantine for a little bit, but can't wait to get her into a large display enclosure where she can be interacted with regularly. Carpets are one of my absolute favorite, and are misunderstood. Adding some Jungle was on my wish list and I am happy to have helped this girl find a soft place to land, especially since she already has had so much time and effort put into her ❤️
