Christian Life Center
Love God, Love People, Serve Others. Sunday English Service - 10:00am
Sunday Spanish Service - 1:30pm
Wednesday Youth Service - 6:30pm
Christian Life Center Church is located in Layton Utah along the beautiful mountains of the Wasatch Front. We are a diverse, nondenominational church with people from all different place in life. We strive to Keep in Biblical, Love our community and Make Jesus known.
As we continue our THIRST series, we're looking at a struggle that every believer faces at some point, a thirst for a miracle.
In Exodus 17, the Israelites found themselves in a dry and desperate place. God had delivered them before, yet when they faced a new challenge, they began to question whether He was still with them. It's easy to read their story and wonder how they could forget God's faithfulness so quickly, but if we're honest, we've all been there.
When prayers seem unanswered, when provision feels delayed, and when we're stuck in the space between God's promises and God's timing, it's easy to become discouraged. Yet this passage reminds us that God is often doing His deepest work in those very moments.
Join us this Sunday for Part 3 of THIRST, "A Thirst for a Miracle," as we discover that sometimes the greatest miracle isn't simply what God provides, but what He teaches us about His presence while we wait.

Relationship Conference is over, but God isn’t finished.
Thankful for every testimony, every breakthrough, every hard conversation, every healed wound, and every step toward healthier marriages and relationships.
Jesus is still changing lives.
You can know all kinds of things about your spouse and still neglect your relationship. You could know
someone’s birthday, their favorite food, where they grew up and still not have intimacy with them.
You can know Bible stories and not know God. You can quote theological ideas and not know God. You
can know Christian Language and talk about sanctification, justification and all of the good stuff and not know God. You could know every worship song on K-love and not know God. You could spend years in
church and still keep God at arm’s length, because religious activity and relationship are not the same
thing.
One reason we are afraid of intimacy with God is because intimacy requires honesty. It’s easier to
perform for God than to be fully known by God.
Nothing else will do. Only you Jesus

What a week at CLC.
From an incredible week of VBS to Sunday’s Life Group Launch, we’re grateful for every opportunity to help people encounter Jesus and find community.
We watched kids worship, learn God’s Word, and build friendships throughout the week. Then on Sunday we celebrated the launch of our summer Life Groups as people took steps toward deeper connection and discipleship.
Church is more than a service it’s a family growing together.
We’re thankful for every volunteer, leader, parent, and family who made this week possible.
Last week we talked about a thirst for stability. This week we're taking that conversation deeper. Many people have spent years around church, worship, Bible studies, and Christian activities, yet still feel spiritually dry. Why? Because knowing about God and knowing God are not the same thing.
Psalm 42 gives us a powerful picture of a soul that longs for something more. The psalmist isn't thirsting for religion, information, or even answers; he's thirsting for the living God.
If you've ever felt distant from God, struggled through a season where faith felt difficult, or found yourself longing for a deeper relationship with Him, this message is for you. Join us this Sunday as we continue our THIRST series and discover why God invites us to settle for nothing less than His presence.- Pastor Rob

Life Groups launch tomorrow after service!
We hear testimonies all the time from people who were looking for connection, friendship, encouragement, and community and found it through a Life Group. What started as a simple step turned into meaningful relationships, spiritual growth, and people doing life together.
The Body of Christ was never meant to be experienced alone. God has designed us for relationship, and sometimes all it takes is one simple step to discover the people He wants to walk alongside you in this season.
Tomorrow is a fun and easy opportunity to explore our summer groups, meet leaders, ask questions, and find a place where you can belong. Come grab a popsicle, connect with some amazing people, and see what God may have in store for you this summer.
We can’t wait to see you there!

“Abide in Me, and I in you.” — John 15:4
The word abide comes from the Greek word menō, which means to remain, stay, dwell, continue, or make one’s home in. It speaks of more than an occasional visit—it describes a permanent residence.
We were created to live in relationship with God. He is not merely a safe house we run to in times of trouble, nor a vacation home we visit when life becomes difficult. He is meant to be our primary residence—the place where our hearts continually dwell.
Jesus invites us to abide in Him, to make our home in His presence and allow Him to make His home in us. This is not a relationship built on occasional encounters but on continual communion.
As Scripture says, “For in Him we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28). Our life, strength, identity, and purpose are found in Him. When we abide in Christ, we discover that He is not simply a place we visit—He is the place we live.
“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.” — John 15:4
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” — Matthew 19:14
VBS Day 3 is here! We’ve already experienced powerful moments of worship, incredible lessons from God’s Word, and plenty of fun along the way. There’s nothing quite like seeing kids encounter Jesus, build friendships, and grow in their faith.
We can’t wait to see what God does tonight! If you haven’t registered yet, there’s still time to join us. Come be a part of an unforgettable week at Illumination Station
