Meet our May employee of the month!!

Skye Whitlock has been with Young Kia for around 6 months! His lovely wife provided a little bio about him:

Skye was born in Oklahoma, but grew up all over the Utah valley. Skye loves music, good movies (he quotes many all the time), and getting creative through different art forms. He loves the Alien franchise, Gremlins, the Simpson’s, Studio Ghibli, and many more. Skye loves to go on adventures, whether it’s skydiving or going to Mexico with all the boys in his family and extended family, to camping and hiking, or getting down on some arcade games at Boondocks or Chuck-E-cheese. He completed his first Spartan Beast this year, running it with two of his brothers and a cousin. He’s a wonderful dad of three children, and an amazing bonus dad to four step kiddos. He’s also an amazing pet dad, having an affinity with cats. Skye will be that crazy cat guy one day.
Skye is hard working and always up for a challenge. He is a jack of all trades and loves working with his hands. He loves plants and gardening and has a great green thumb.

Yesterday, we had the immense pleasure of presenting fourth grade teacher Hollie Fisher, the teacher of the year, with a one-year lease of a 2025 Kia Seltos!

We are honored to be a part of thanking this incredible educator for her passion and dedication! Outstanding teachers are essential for current and future generations achieving success! Congratulations Hollie!!

Meet the April employee of the month!!

Matt Horspool came to us from another dealership as a service advisor about 3 months ago. In his free time he likes to play video games and ride his motorcycle! And four months ago he got engaged! His fellow employees say that he is always helpful and a joy to be around! Especially when he’s always smiling! 😁

Tristin Powell has been with Young Kia in our parts department since March of 2024. In his free time, he loves to get a little bit of fresh air with some golf! He also loves spending time with his wife!
He always has a smile on his face and is constantly ready to offer a helping hand!

Meet the February employee of the month!

Scott Bair has been with Young Automotive for 29 years and 36 years total in the business! He is a used car technician at Young Kia who was also the "Eagle" in 2024. This means that he was the top technicians in the Young Automotive group all last year! He is always friendly, hardworking, and willing to help others. Congratulations Scott! 🥳
