Congratulations Nathan Batchelor. On 10-25-24 Nathan was called to assist a neighboring agency with a woman in active labor. Shortly after patient contact the patient delivered a healthy baby boy in the back of an ambulance. Both mom and baby are doing great. These call are few and in between. Nate received his Stork pin today for a assistance in the delivery.

Thank you to the LHS Athletic Trainers. Our crews performed their annual training with the LHS athletic staff on player stabilization and equipment removal. This is a valuable training that is not often practiced enough. The department has also been practicing proficiency on our new Glide scopes. This is a smaller more practical device used to secure a patients airway. When seconds count, proficiency and confidence is key.

Congratulations to our crew for receiving awards from St. Elizabeth and the Department of Homeland Security for saving this gentleman's life after suffering a cardiac arrest. Solid work from the 911 dispatchers, Law enforcement, and our Fire and EMS crews. Early CPR and defibrillation was vital in this successful outcome.

Lawrenceburg EMS was happy to host a county wide training. St. Elizabeth providers educated members from several different organizations on Non-fatal Strangulation. Learning the forensic side can help our personnel better serve our patients. Thank you to St. Elizabeth for providing this training.
