"To get that kind of message- to bring that guy back to their app because he’d spent so much money before- it's deeply sick and manipulative." - Emma Vigeland on The Majority Report

The Bryce Harper FanDuel message paints a terrifying picture of how these predatory apps actually operate.

Lawmakers must act now and enact a total ban on all forms of online gambling and hold these manipulative apps accountable.

FanDuel laid bare the predatory reality of the commercialized sports betting industry when they took $1.5 million from a Philadelphia fan, then reeled him back in with a personal video from Bryce Harper.

Using the face of the Philadelphia Phillies to help incentivize a man to lose his family’s life savings is criminal.

Today, members of Stop Predatory Gambling share and act on those same values.

We are kids, parents, and grandparents—every generation of neighbors and families—fighting an unjust government

250 years ago, the battle cry was: No taxation without representation.

Today, our battle cry is: No taxation by exploitation.

When state governments partner with predatory gambling operators, they betray everything those original patriots fought for.
