🌾The WheatFields Oven🌾
The curved brick wall to your right is the outside wall of our 25 ton wood-fired oven. The masonry circle continues inside the bakery. The oven itself is from J. Llopis of Barcelona, Spain, and was built on site by master craftsman Manual de la Rosa. The finish brickwork was laid by Ernie Fantini and crew.

Lawrence sculptor Laura Ramberg made the decorative terra cotta tile, both on the this outside portion of the wall and inside above the firebox door.Kate Dineen and Walt Hull Iron Work forged the three pieces of wrought iron grillwork on the outside of the oven.

The oven was completed and first fired in the autumn of 1995
