In following the recommendations of the CDC, I am temporarily requiring face masks in the salon again, for everyone, including those of us who are fully vaccinated. I loved not wearing a mask, but I’m doing what needs to be done to help prevent small businesses from having to shut down again and to act in solidarity with my community to help eradicate this virus and its variants. Had a girl’s afternoon for the purpose of testing out my new Express Brazilian Blowout System in the salon. We followed the instructions all the way to the protective eyewear. This could really be a game changer!

I have been told I’m a hard sell, and it is true. I definitely don’t fall for hair products easily. After lots of use on my clients’ hair, and my own hair, I feel confident enough in this product to announce that I am carrying K18 for both salon use and for home care. My Dear Clients, I’ve been thinking a lot about the services i offer, and have offered throughout my career and have been focusing on the ones that I would like to cut out of my menu, or at least cut back on. I have many children clients that I love, and also love their parents with a long history of friendship and/or working together. At this time i will no longer accept new children’s haircuts. This is not an area that I excel at and I’m happy to refer you to stylists in town who are great with cutting kids hair. If I’m already cutting your child’s hair, we’ll talk at their next appointment regarding options and pricing. Just so this is known, I will no longer color any children’s hair under 18. I just can’t in good conscience do it. Thank you for understanding this.

The other service i am permanently deleting from my menu is VIVID colors. I can no longer in good conscience offer this service. Most people have problems sitting long enough to get a quality result with these semi-permanent colors, and I cannot charge a high enough price to make a 3 to 4 hour service worth it for me to do. Also I cannot cause the damage that can sometimes happen with the bleaching required to achieve certain shades. I appreciate your understanding, if you have any questions regarding this and how it affects you please text or call. I would love to talk it out with you.
