Good news for families this summer! SUN Bucks provides $120 in grocery benefits for each eligible child to help purchase food while school is out.
Many eligible children will be automatically enrolled through programs they already participate in. However, some families will need to apply to receive benefits.

Just in time for summer, when many children lose access to school meals, the amazing students and families of Temple Emanuel Preschool in Andover held their annual Peanut Butter & Jelly Drive.
Together, they collected 246 pounds of peanut butter and jelly to help support local families facing food insecurity.
Thank you for teaching the value of kindness, generosity, and community service at such a young age. Your support will help ensure that local children have nutritious food to enjoy this summer. 💚

Neighbors In Need Executive Director Lisa Smith recently accepted a generous financial award from Foundation representatives Craig MacKenzie and Raichelle Kallery 🙌
Established in 1997 through an initial endowment of $550,000 from The Savings Bank, the Foundation distributed a total of $74,000 to 24 nonprofit organizations during its 29th distribution of funds 💙
Over the past 29 years, the Foundation has donated more than $1 million to organizations serving local communities — helping nonprofits like NIN continue providing food, diapers, and essential support to families across the Merrimack Valley 🥫🍼✨

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, Soup’s On! 2026 not only met but exceeded its $150,000 goal, raising more than **$186,000** to support local families facing food insecurity and diaper need.
