A boutique-style clothing program that empowers low-income women by using clothing and image as tools
Not your average clothing program, Uncommon Threads empowers domestic violence survivors and women in need by using clothes and image to boost self-esteem, self-worth and self-confidence. Clients are social worker referred and receive up to four complete outfits with the help of our "volunteer" stylists. All donations are tax deductible through our partnership with Family Services of The Merrimack Valley.

She came in looking for work clothes as she begins a new chapter in a banking training program—and left with a wardrobe she absolutely loved! 🎉
Karen was such a pleasure to work with, and her excitement and appreciation for every outfit was contagious. There’s nothing quite like finding clothes that make you feel confident, polished, and ready to take on what’s next.

Some days at Uncommon Threads are a little bittersweet. ❤️
Today we gathered to celebrate three incredible members of our team who are moving on to their next chapters—and to celebrate a birthday, too! 🎉🎂
These women have each brought their own talents, energy, heart, and passion to Uncommon Threads, and we are so grateful for the time they’ve spent with us and the difference they’ve made in the lives of the women we serve.
We may be saying goodbye, but the impact they have made will stay with us. Wishing each of you so much happiness and success in whatever comes next—and a very happy birthday to our birthday girl Amy!
Once part of the Uncommon Threads family, always part of the Uncommon Threads family. 💕

What a night!
It was pure magic. ✨
On September 17, we celebrated 10 incredible years of Uncommon Threads at our Dress to Impress 10th Birthday Gala at the beautiful Stevens Estate—and we are still smiling. It was truly a night to remember.
From everyone who came out to celebrate and support Uncommon Threads, to our fabulous MC meteorologist Danielle Noyes , to the music, laughter,, and of course, the client fashion show, the evening was a true celebration of community.
And watching our clients take the runway? That was THE moment. Seeing their confidence, joy, and personalities shine reminded us exactly why we do what we do.
Ten years. Tens of thousands of women. And a community that continues to show up for women in so many ways.
Thank you to everyone who came, supported, sponsored, volunteered, donated, modeled, danced, laughed, and helped make this milestone so special.
