Thank you to everyone who supported me in my campaign in any way. You made a difference and allowed my message to be heard. While I didn't win, I am not discouraged. I feel an impact has been made and groundwork has been laid for the future of our communities here in Franklin and Osage Counties and Kansas overall. I will continue to fight for a better community and a better Kansas. I am proud to have ran a clean, civil, and spirited campaign against Blaine Finch and hope he does well in Topeka so that our state does well.

Dems to Gov: Reimburse state for mailers 11/02/2012

Governor Brownback, through the Department of Revenue a letter to business owners explaining the effects of the his new tax shift. The timing, flashy design, and politically charged wording of the letter leads me, as other Democrats have noted, to believe this was a political mailing done with state resources (to the tune of $52,000). This highly unethically behavior brought to Topeka by the Governor and his administration needs to stop. If you agree, make sure you vote tomorrow morning, or Tuesday for candidates like me who will bring commonsense Kansas values back to Topeka.

Dems to Gov: Reimburse state for mailers With Kansas Democratic Party Chair Joan Wagnon by his side Friday, House Minority Leader Paul Davis, D-Lawrence, called on Gov. Sam Brownback to reimburse the state for tax reform mailers sent out this week.

I'm honored to have been endorsed by the Ottawa Herald for the Democratic nomination in the 59th House District.

"...while Correll and Wiles share some of the same passions and the desire to help, one Democratic candidate sets himself apart with a wider breadth of knowledge and understanding about the many issues facing Kansans today.

Caleb Correll, who also serves as Franklin County Democratic Party chair, displays potential and promise as a young leader. He said he felt compelled to run for the House because of the swing away from moderate Kansas politics in recent years."
