“I had heard great reviews about Peak Performance, so I decided to see Dr. Jeric for a sports related injury in my low back. After being treated & performing the exercise he gave me to do on my own, I went from hardly being able to tie my shoes to nearly ZERO back pain! My mobility is greatly improving each day & I’m nearly 100% after just two appointments.

The REAL Causes of Low Back Pain (It’s Not What You Think)

Your low back pain may not actually be a low back problem.

Recurring pain is often the result of poor movement habits, muscle imbalances, restricted soft tissue, and limited mobility in the hips and ankles.

That's why stretching or resting may provide temporary relief but doesn't always solve the underlying issue.

🤕 Dealing with a pickleball injury❓ We can help.
-
At Peak Performance Health Center, we don’t just chase symptoms—we identify WHY the injury happened in the first place.
-
Whether you’re struggling with elbow pain, knee pain, low back tightness, or shoulder irritation, our goal is to help you recover quickly AND prevent the issue from coming back.
-
Our treatment approach may include:
✔️ Chiropractic & joint mobility work
✔️ Active Release Technique (ART)
✔️ Shockwave therapy
✔️ Class IV deep tissue laser therapy
✔️ Dry needling
✔️ Corrective exercises & rehab
✔️ Mobility and stability training
✔️ Strengthening weak links causing compensation
-
Most pickleball injuries happen because the body is compensating somewhere else:
➡️ Tight hips can overload the low back
➡️ Weak glutes can stress the knees
➡️ Poor shoulder blade control can irritate the shoulder/elbow
-
When we improve how your body moves as a whole, you can get back on the court stronger, more mobile, and with more confidence. 💪
-
If pain is affecting your game, let’s fix the root cause—not just the symptoms. Give us a call at (785) 842-7325, and let us help you get back to performing at your peak!

Pickleball is booming . . . and so are the injuries that come with it.
-
As more people hit the courts, we’re seeing a huge increase in pickleball-related injuries — especially in active adults who are playing multiple times per week.
-
Some of the most common pickleball injuries we see include:
-
⚠️ Tennis/Pickleball Elbow
⚠️ Shoulder pain & rotator cuff irritation
⚠️ Low back tightness or strain
⚠️ Knee pain
⚠️ Achilles tendon irritation
⚠️ Ankle sprains
⚠️ Calf or hamstring strains
-
Why does it happen?
-
Pickleball involves quick changes of direction, repetitive overhead movements, sudden acceleration/deceleration, and rotational stress on the body. If mobility, strength, or recovery are lacking, the body starts compensating—and injuries happen.
-
The good news? Most pickleball injuries are preventable when your body moves well and is properly prepared for the demands of the sport. 💪
-
Don’t wait until pain sidelines you from the court. Give us a call at (785) 842-7325 and let's get you back to performing at your peak!
