Our mission: To inspire young lives through art, work, and community. Van Go, Inc. offers a variety of programs and services to Douglas County youth, ages 14-24.
Our comprehensive, ‘earn while you learn’ employment programs use art as the vehicle to provide employability skills training, health and wellness education, and social service support. Van Go’s nationally recognized programming gives young people a job, real world skills, individualized support and the opportunity to create their own vision of success.

It's BENCHMARK season folks! We are amped up for another summer of creating benches that will find their way into the community. The end of week 1 marks client assignments. We have spent the week getting to know one another and introducing the JAMS Apprentice Artists to Van Go. All 20 artists have now been paired with their bench client and will begin the work of commissioning the bench.

Uh oh! If you received an email from our Executive Director Lori this morning with an "Exclusive Invitation", please DO NOT click the link - it's the result of a brief hack that we have since corrected. To our knowledge, this impacted only emails from Lori- so all other Van Go emails, including today's email about our Benchmark Scavenger Hunt, should be safe.

It's Benchmark season and we are kicking things off with a summer scavenger hunt!
How to Play:
1.Use the clues and map to help find the locations for the 13 benches in the hunt
2.Visit the bench locations between June 1 and July 31, 2026 and snap a photo
with the Van Go bench
3.Post your pics on social media and tag Van Go with
4.Every correct tagged photo is an entry to win a prize pack!
BONUS PLAY:
A smaller prize pack will be awarded to one person who tags Van Go in a photo with ANY Van Go bench! Use between June 1 and July 31, 2026 to enter!
The fine print
Only 1 (one) photo per bench per account- additional photos with the same bench will not qualify as additional entries.
Winners will be randomly chosen from qualified entries on August 3, 2026 and notified via the same platform as the entry was received.
By entering, you consent to have your tagged photos and likeness shared to Van Go’s social media and/or used by
Van Go.
Please be respectful of the rules and operating hours of the bench locations. Not all benches may be accessible on all days at all times

One year ago, Brooklyn joined our team through the Van Go program, and we couldn't be more grateful. Over the past year, she has brought kindness, dedication, and a genuine love for animals to every visit.
From belly rubs and walks to making sure our clients' pets feel safe and loved, Brooklyn has become an important part of our team. We're so proud of all she has accomplished and thankful for the care she provides to our furry friends every day. Here's to an amazing first year and many more to come! 🐾❤️🎊

Our mornings aren't quite the same without opening meetings with The Arts Train this week. It was a truly bittersweet final week with this crew as we wrapped up on A LOT of projects but also made time for rest and celebration. We couldn't be more proud of the growth each and every member of this team made throughout their time at Van Go. They are taking so many new skill sets out into the world and have a forever family here at Van Go. We'll miss these folks but are so excited to see what they do next. Congratulations to all our Apprentice Artists for completing The Arts Train ✨🎉
