A few favorite nature shots from trip to Montana. What a beautiful state to display God’s creativity. I’m in awe every time I travel here. Taking deep breaths of crisp air and spending time in nature is good for you. ❤️

Some goodbyes don't feel like goodbyes — they feel like a send-off. ✨
This family has been a cornerstone of our church community here in Lawrence, and watching them begin a new chapter in a new state is bittersweet in the best way. Before they go, we spent time at the places that made them who they are — Clinton Lake, where so many memories were made, and home, where all of life really happens.
Wherever the road takes you, you carry Lawrence with you. We love you and we're cheering you on every step of the way. 🙏

Trey.
Confident. Effortless. His own.
The kind of presence that makes a session come together naturally without forcing anything.
Wishing him the best in his next chapter.

Graduation weekend = the whole family in one place… which doesn’t happen nearly often enough.
Even if your session is focused on your senior, it’s the perfect opportunity to include a few photos with the people who have been part of the journey. No pressure, no big production—just a chance to capture everyone together while you’re already there.
These are the moments that don’t come around all the time, and they’re always worth holding onto.
Spring sessions are filling up, especially around graduation weekends. If your crew will be in town, let’s make it happen.

This senior session with Tristan was such a meaningful one.
I’ve known him and his family for several years, and it was really cool to see him step into this season of life with such confidence and ease. There’s something really special about getting to photograph someone when they’ve come into their own like that.
I’m always drawn to those in-between moments in a session, the real expressions, the way someone carries themselves when they’re not thinking too hard about it. That’s where the good stuff is.
Grateful to get to do this kind of work, especially with seniors like Tristan.
Wishing him the best as he heads into this next chapter.
There are still a few spots left for spring grad sessions. I would love to capture your senior in this season of life.

For the parents who have supported their children through every step of the journey, graduation is a moment worth remembering.
These are the photos that become part of your family’s story for years to come.
Spring graduation sessions are almost full, with just a few spots remaining.
If this milestone is coming up for your family, I would love to help you celebrate it.

Another one that I got to photograph that is near and dear to my heart! Our families are close so he naturally feels like one of the boys ;) We were able to pick locations that were not only important to Ethan as a fun spot but also the Lawrence Country Club where his great grandfather was a founding member. Ethan I am so excited to see where you end up and hope we continue to be apart of all your big moments!

High schoolers are one of my favorite (and most unpredictable!) groups to photograph.
Some walk in ready to shine, others are a little more reserved; and you truly never know what you’re going to get. But that’s the fun part! My goal is always the same: create a space where they feel comfortable enough to just be themselves.

People will always be my favorite thing to photograph. But every once in a while, I need to step outside and point my lens toward something quieter.
There’s something incredibly therapeutic about capturing close-ups of nature; the textures, the light, the tiny details most people walk right past. I love thinking that I might be the only person who will ever notice that exact leaf in that exact light at that exact moment.
It’s fleeting. It’s quiet. It’s beautiful.
