🏊‍♀️ Splashing into Summer! 🏊‍♂️

Last week, Full Circle completed our first session of swim lessons, and it was an incredible week!

For some of our participants, the pool was a brand-new experience. We watched kids face their fears, try new things, build water safety skills, and grow more confident with each lesson. By the end of the week, there were lots of smiles, laughter, and proud swimmers.

Opportunities like these are about so much more than learning to swim—they help children build confidence, resilience, and memories that last a lifetime.

A huge thank you to Lawrence Kansas Parks and Recreation and the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center for providing such a positive experience for our youth. We are grateful for partners who help make these opportunities possible.

We’re excited to have a seat at the table and share the experiences of the youth and families we serve through Full Circle. We’re looking forward to connecting with community partners, learning from one another, and helping identify ways we can better support families throughout Douglas County.

Passes are available at Resident Services while supplies last. Families may receive one pass per household member to use at the Lawrence Outdoor Aquatic Center.

✨ Youth Spotlight: Za'Niyah ✨

Za'Niyah recently turned five and will be starting kindergarten this fall! To celebrate this exciting new chapter, her family is helping her get involved in sports and activities for the very first time — starting with t-ball! 🥎💖

Full Circle was excited to help her get ready for the season with brand new gear, including a pink bat, glove, and helmet.

We love helping youth explore new interests, build confidence, and discover what they’re capable of. We can’t wait to cheer Za'Niyah on this season!
