8 Silly Rabbits Magic

On May 12th the March of Dimes hosted a March for Babies and invited us to entertain kids between walks--we just got a letter saying that over "200 participants and several corporate partners raised more than $25,000." Way to go March of Dimes! Thanks for letting 8 Silly Rabbits Magic be a part of it!

Overheard Triks the Bunny talking telling Peaches the Hamster that this Saturday, April 21st, is the Lawrence Kids Fun Fair from 10-2 at the Lawrence Community Building. Happy St. Patrick's Day! We're off to do our last "Leprechaun Magic" show in Excelsior Springs MO at 2:30. Kind of sad it's the last one--we've really had fun doing this show.

We're about to head to the Antioch Branch of Mid-Continent Public Library. It'll be fun to be there--we went to church just a few blocks from the library when I was growing up. Haven't been there for years. We had a fantastic audience last night in Blue Springs, so we're excited for today.

Today at 7pm, 8 Silly Rabbits is performing at the Blue Springs South Branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library. The address is 2220 SW State Route 7. And then tomorrow, at 10am, we're wiggling our whiskers at the Antioch Branch of the Mid-Continent Public Library, 6060 N. Chestnut Avenue. Or, catch us this weekend at the Excelsior Springs Branch on Saturday--St. Patrick's Day!--at 2:30 pm, 1460 Kearney Rd. Wow! The "Leprechaun Magic" is keeping us busy!

Lee's Summit was such a fun show! Never underestimate the power of a small audience. We had about 10 kids, but the room was full of energy. If you've never been to the Lee's Summit library, you should go: the staff was warm and friendly, and the children's room is decorated beautifully.

We love meeting the kids, and you'd be amazed how many cool tricks they already know how to do!

When we first got Triks, he weighed 10 oz. He was like a muffin with ears. Now he's about 3 lbs, and he lives in his hutch indoors, and at night, he gets to run around the basement. Three of our cats, Squeak, Winky and Puffington, like to follow him around. And if they get too close, he hops straight up the air, and they run off. He has the feline population around here totally trained. And speaking of training, he never makes messes when he's playing in the basement--he waits until he's back in the hutch. Truly a magical rabbit!
