Come to the first-ever Pink Woman Power Lunch from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 14, at Health Care Access, 330 Maine St., which is being held in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

The event will feature free clinical breast exams and free same-day mammograms, a light lunch and refreshments, young survivor stories, breast health education and bra decorating for Bras on the Kaw.

The Pink Woman Power Lunch is being sponsored by Health Care Access, Early Detection Works, the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Breast Center, Lawrence-Douglas County Housing Authority and Young Survival Coalition.
