Excited to say that my piece, Afterburner, has been selected by the jurors for the show "American Heroes Exhibition" in celebration odd the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The Exhibition is at the NSS gallery in NYC, May 27th - July 17th!

We first met through Artists INC, a professional development program by that brings artists together to grow their careers and community. That’s where this friendship started.

Since then, Kadesh has been on a serious rise — recently touring Ireland as part of the UNESCO Creative Cities exchange and performing at the . He’s been lighting up major KC festivals and is also a professor in the Music Department at the University of Kansas. All while blending jazz, rap, and nerdcore like no one else.

This photo is the receipt: we were friends before the world tours, the packed festival stages, and the faculty office. 👊

Two halves of the ball coming together. Such an awesome project, fabricating signage for . It's been a challenge, yet so much fun, hand forming the internal structural pieces and wheeling the panels to fit and rivet on. Soon, it will be a glorious beacon of SURF in Dallas!
