I bring together the worlds of galactic mediumship and healing with bodywork to provide my clients with the knowing and experience of endless unconditional love within themselves, providing them space to shine that love out, anchor it into the planet, and share it with the world around them.
I am a Lifestyle & Behavior Change Coach, and a practitioner and teacher of the Energy Healing Arts. I founded Bare Roots Energy Reiki & Meditation Center here in Lawrence, KS, in 2019, and specialize in the integration of Daily Wellness Practices and Healing Paths into the daily lives of my clients. Through this work, I assist individuals in fine-tuning their expression for creation and harmony, healing, and growth.
I have practiced energy awareness and whole-person wellness since my childhood, studied and taught the intricacies of anxiety, depression, and overwhelm as an educator since 2008, and now focus my work and skills on coaching clients through wellness and life-changing shifts. I am so passionate about the work that I do because of the profound change it has brought into my life and body, and into the lives of those I help each day.
This I my 5th year teaching at Free State Yoga Festival. I am Opening with Intention Setting Workshop. During Breakout Sessions I will be offering Flower Essence Creation Workshop & Heart Centering and Opening Healing & Meditation Workshop.

Peer groups can be hard to find as an adult, especially when you are in a competitive industry and area/country. I know a lot of of kind people, and for me, it’s easy to laugh with nearly everyone. I find it hard to find people who genuinely care. I have only a few people who ever ask me how I am on a regular basis in my life and actually want me to tell them the truth. Perhaps it’s just the nature of my work, or perhaps it’s my age. Being smack dab in the center of the age bracket makes it easy to get busy and never check on the people in your life. Being a healer also gives people the impression that problems and emotions no longer crop up.
I do admit that over the years I have become soured and don’t do much checking in with people myself anymore, due to the caring and giving typically only going one way. However, this is just another lesson that I am in the middle of learning from this beautiful life, and one of the reasons that I continue my deep healing on a daily basis.
As I light my own shadows, I love myself a little bit more each day, which shines more light on my own heart and the hearts of those in my family, and some days that just has to be enough.
