Off and running with spring training for us and the Royals in February in Phoenix, our first tourney run of the season last weekend, and volunteering at Harvesters today.

Yesterday was service project day. Our thanks to Mellowfields Farm for welcoming us to harvest their crops and then eat some farm fresh lunch before the wiffle ball game commenced!

These boys are living it up at the Omaha Slumpbuster Tournament! 3-2 overall and 2-1 in pool play heading into bracket tomorrow. Baseball, cornball, pool party, pizza party, tortoise time, and pin trading. Tonight they are off to the College World Series!

Our April service project was volunteering to spread mulch in the Audio-Reader sensory garden and stuffing Easter eggs for the Lions Club. We learned about their missions to support individuals with a range of vision impairment and the importance of accessibility. Our thanks to Meredith for setting this up and hosting us!

First weekend out and they are tournament champions!
