Jamie's Jumpers Rabbitry
French Angora and Jersey Wooly Breeder

Of course I had to show you some of the babies. Our little Ricky Ricardo should be called Peanut now that he’s naked. 😆 Nugget is magestic. So is Fred. We will always have a soft spot for our big fella, Minty Fresh.

It was deep clean and shave your buns day at the rabbitry! 😆 We have 3 naked floofs now and a sanitized cage space, and freshly deep cleaned cages about to go back in. Sometimes, you just have to tackle it all. Happy Spring Break to everyone! May the warm weather and upcoming Easter be a beautiful time for you all!

Meet Taco!! We got her yesterday at the show in Longview! We have always wanted a REW and now we have one. She should possibly give us some gorgeous babies in a couple of months! Christmas mini floofs are coming our way! 🤞🏻Also - just for admiration, our Ricky Ricardo got a little blow out himself and I had to give him a nod.

Our best rabbits (all but 1) blew their coats right before a show, but they are still the best rabbits. It’s science. Thank you.

When your baby bunnies have babies…I mean - is there anything sweeter than snuggly baby bunnies?

What a fun weekend in Longview with all these sweet floofs. Our new little Buck, Fred Mertz, won Best of Breed, Best of Opposite and Best of Variety in the 3 shows! Our little orange doe, Lucy Ricardo, won best of opposite variety in each show as well. We got to sit with one of our favorite breeders, Caitlyn Hopkins, who was responsible for our current wooley brood!
We fully believe coming to an ARBA sanctioned show is where you will find the best stock. You will meet experienced breeders of all varieties and they help guide you to the best breed for you and connect you with others that show in that breed. Rabbit showing is unique in that this is how you gain the best reputation and get official feedback from qualified judges. You gain legs from these shows which can help you achieve Grand Champion for your best buns. So visit the ARBA website and find a show near you to get started. Loads of people are there and are used to questions and love to help!

We have ANOTHER Miss Ma’am (rabbit math always is multiplication) - a chestnut that SO sweet!! Also - needing a name. We could make the new baby and her match or go separately.

Ok…we have a new baby. She needs a name! She’s seriously adorable and so calm. Help us choose a name! We usually give them human names - but we are ok with something fun too.
***Jamie has spoken - say hello to Penelope!***

Bunny Show Season is HERE! Today was grooming catch up day for an upcoming show. We have 1 more angora to groom and some touch ups on our shaded wooly.
For those of you that don’t have wool breeds, you can’t appreciate the pillow fight carnage that your lawn (or barn) looks like after grooming. Most of that fluff came from our little shaded guy too! Our little broken buck is so chill, he let me hold him on his back and just watched me trim his nails and make sure he looked perfect.
I think our 3 jersey woolies are going to show well! I might enter our 2 angoras in the open competition too. They are gorgeous bucks. We love our pretty little babies. I’ll post some blow out videos in the comments. Their fluff is so pretty!

Well, just so we are covered for some fall babies, we had some bunny dates today. Sometimes we only got some snuggles.☺️Sometimes we got some thumps.😆 Sometimes, it was instant attraction.😍 Needless to say, there will be some future floofs at the end of the July! Sorry for the less than beautiful pictures but, we are keeping our precious buns in a/c because it is almost July in N. Texas.🥵 We will have some French Angoras and some Jersey Woolies, and we will keep you posted with the cuteness!

Miss Lucy came out for some snuggles and pictures when I was grooming Bob and Ricky Ricardo. She is genuinely the sweetest little baby.
