Alec, our 8th grader, has an amazing opportunity to travel to Spain (and Morocco!) with his school this May as the culmination of his participation in Dual Language Immersion instruction in Spanish since first grade. It is going to be an incredible trip and learning opportunity, and he needs a little help to make it happen. If any of our AZ friends are looking for somewhere to donate their tax credit money for last year or this year, we'd love it if you would consider Alec's trip!

As a show of thanks for your support, Alec is offering anyone who contributes to his trip, either a block of his dad’s apple-wood smoked cheddar cheese, or a dozen of his dad’s home-made spiced molasses cookies. Please let us know which you would prefer!

I didn’t feel particularly much like a superwoman when I happened upon this photo op last week. At least not in the ways I had planned to be super. I always have big plans. I had hoped to launch a new website, grow my social media accounts and possibly even start a podcast by 2021. I also wanted to have my home mostly made over by now and had been considering pursuing performing more since Big Fish in 2019. Not to mention all of the plans, struggles and dreams that come with motherhood.
I’m probably not the only one feeling a bit battered after the last year in a variety of ways. I still have big dreams and plans, but it feels like I am moving toward them at a snail’s pace. But nevertheless, I am still moving forward and showing up in this world and trying to make positive contributions where I can. Maybe given all the obstacles, that is pretty super after all.

Curtains are up! Not with out a little additional drama. I will tell the whole story in my stories if you would like. But this space is mostly done-ish, making it everyone’s favorite place to be.
