Gorge Nation, on Friday, July 24th we are hosting a fundraising golf tournament at Walden Country Club in Crofton!!! This is a save the date post with more information to come within the coming weeks.

There will be competition holes, giveaways, food, beverage, merch, and much more!

ATTENTION!!!

We are having joint Summer training sessions with starting this Monday 5/18 from 6-8 PM and repeating every Monday until our fall training begins.

We are opening our practice to all returning players, interested players, college graduates and current college players. Anyone who is looking to stay in shape, get in shape, maintaining your skills, or learn the sport are welcome to join us.

We are at Walker Field at UMBC. The field doesn’t have an exact address, the parking lot entrance is off of Hilltop Road, but there is a building next to the field that takes you right to it. That address is:

Obviously there are holidays over the summer, which rescheduling announcements for day/time/location will be made. Stay tuned.

Congratulations to Will Miller on being inducted into the UMBC RFC Alumni Hall of Fame in the Class of 2026! Will attended UMBC for 4 years alongside future Rocky Gorge ruggers who are also in the UMBC RFC Hall of Fame!

As per admin fashion this announcement is overdue, but we are celebrating a new group of past ruggers as the chosen will be inducted into the Rocky Gorge Rugby Hall of Fame representing the Class of 2026! It will be a fantastic night celebrating their contributions to Rocky Gorge made on and off the field!

The younger players play a co-ed, two-hand touch version of the game that allows them to develop rugby skills and an understanding of the game without the concern of contact. The fellas have a rematch of the fall finale in their first D1 MAC Championship since 2023! As the temperature rose this week, so did our excitement, and we can’t wait be on the pitch Saturday!
