The Quarter Auction of the Laurel DE Lions Club was a great success. Thanks to the community and local businesses for their support.

Mark your calendars! Our 2026 Quarter Auction is scheduled for Fri., Jan. 23 at 6pm at the Laurel Fire House. Bid on an incredible lineup of prizes donated by amazing local businesses. All proceeds benefit our community service projects.

Laurel Lions Club would like to thank all of the people who supported our yard sale; we enjoyed meeting all of you. Also, thanks to Lions Charlie and Ingrid Cathell for setting up the sale, and Lions Dennis O’Neal, Kevin Long, Phil Velez, and Shelly Erskine for their assistance, during the sale.

The Delphic Fraternity was founded in 1871, re-established in 1987, with origins dating back to 1833.

Gamma Sigma Fraternity International was founded as the Gamma Sigma Society on October 11, 1869 at the Brockport Normal School in New York, today SUNY Brockport. Gamma Sigma became the first international high school fraternity.

Five of its members transferred to the Geneseo Normal School in 1871 and help form the Delphic Society, known today as the Delphic Fraternity.
