I cannot say enough about the positive experience I had at Miguel Wilson today!

As the lead planner for a client’s event, I needed to make an emergency visit to resolve a misunderstanding regarding the client’s suit order. I met with Vino, who currently oversees operations at the National Harbor location, and I could not have been more pleased with the outcome.

Not only does Vino have a friendly, customer-focused demeanor, but he was also incredibly accommodating in helping to resolve a situation that was no fault of his own. Sometimes you need to get away and see a destination through a new lens. The itinerary was free flowing, but we checked off quite a few boxes after checking in with our team at to ensure we didn’t miss anything! What a gem you have in this city!

Who doesn’t love Global Meetings Industry Week! It’s such a fun time to connect with industry peers and partners!

What an amazing 3 days this has been! The team at Discover Puerto Rico rolled out the red carpet for our group of 15 planners during a well curated destination site visit. So far we toured 4 hotels to include the Marriott San Juan, Fairmont, Four Seasons (formerly the St. Regis) and Caribe Hilton (originator of the pina colada). We also visited the Districto T-Mobile Food & Entertainment complex and capped the night off with a captivating food & history tour of Old San Juan that was EVERYTHING!!! One of the other highlights of my trip was this beautiful hand painted hat from a local artist.

What an incredible chance to experience this week on a planner’s FAM trip! The CVB team and hotel partners truly outdid themselves - this was one of the most impressive showcases yet!
