Dog Bone Run - Largo Community Support

Please help if you know any info.

Seeking Witnesses & Photo/Video: On Sunday April 9th at approximately 11 am our golden retriever was brutally attacked by a gray/black-mottled (spotted) terrier/pit bull mix at Dog Bone Run in Largo. The dog's owner claimed her name was "Ganelle Erhart" and provided a fake phone number to both the police and myself. "Ganelle" is a light black-skinned, black haired woman around 5 feet tall in her mid-forties. She said her dog had attacked and possibly killed a cat recently and had previously attacked other dogs as well. I have the dog's license number (see photo), but no photo/videos of the owner or dog. We are putting together a dangerous animal report to prevent this from happening to anyone else's pet.

IMPORTANT: Please message me with any photo, video or witness report you have from this attack.

Our golden is recovering now, but required extensive stitches due to this attack. We do not want this to happen to anyone else's pet.

Heat Stroke: 30-minute walk can be deadly for dogs A routine, 30-minute walk turned tragic for a young dog last weekend. The dog's death has a Tampa Bay area veterinarian warning pet owners about the dangers of heat stroke.

I can start out. My name is Dawn and I have two dogs - Tars (Blue Tick Coonhound, Rottweiler, and Mastiff) who is 7 months old and Woola (terrier, redbone coonhound, pug) who is 2 years old. I generally plan to come M, W, F after 5pm. Oh and I drive the Ghostbuster car.
