Arielle Stevenson is a journalist and storyteller from Largo, Fla. Educated at USF St. Petersburg, she recently completed her Master’s in Florida Studies. Published in the New York Times, Tampa Bay Times, and Creative Loafing Tampa, she also worked as a Tex-Mex waitress, carpenter, and even put in a three-day stint at a Cracker Barrel before she was fired for “promiscuous” nail polish. She is currently writing a memoir on fighting back against an abusive former partner.
