With heavy heart, the Starlite is closed We closed yesterday. Too many building issues to the point of endangering our customers.
The landlord doesn't seem to think that an airconditioner sitting on rotting trusses is something to fix! We were told by 3 roofing contractors that possibly the next hard rain it would come down. The cooler also is a major problem and has been from day one. The City of Largo gives us permits then turns around the next day and gives us a violation for the permit we just bought saying regardless o
Still closed...now too long to do the long hours ...but miss it with all my being...

I was asked today if I could do a different stuffed French toast by a lady that doesn't like bananas. So...I guess this weekend will be stuffed French toast trials...strawberry honey or peach honey cream cheese filling and a sauce to match!
Saturdays and Sundays we run specials not on the menu the rest of the week. Eggs benedict, chocolate chip pancakes with fudge sauce and corned beef hash made with our fresh corned beef....it looks like this weekend we might have brown sugar peach muffins too!
July 1st. Starting today more breakfasts and more $4.95 specials!...
Today we are starting to fax our specials to businesses that have given us cards. Hopefully this will generate some activity. We now deliver within a reasonable distance with no delivery charge.
Will be adding Cuban sandwiches and roast pork sandwiches in the near future...just have to find the RIGHT ingredients so they are authentic. Poor hubby now has to suffer trying all the different ways of roast pork so it's PERFECT!

Slow day...thank heavens for friends....
the guests seem to love thechicken philly sandwich. so guess we are keeping that one. Line cook made a super corned beef ...so guess it's ruebans and corned beef hash this weekend for specials.
We NOW have Hamburgers...working on a veggie black bean burger...Wonder when I can put something on the menu I actually like to eat!...giggles.
