From fire crew to pit crew, LFR is there when you need us.
When a resident pulled into Station 40 with a flat tire, our firefighters pitched in to change it out and get her safely back on the road.

Largo Fire Rescue recently hosted the National Fire Academy’s Strategy and Tactics for Initial Company Operations course.
LFR firefighters joined members from neighboring agencies for two days of training focused on managing initial operations and tactical decision-making at structure fires.

Are you taking steps to keep dengue out of your community?
Dengue fever is spread from mosquito bites, so prevention starts with all of us. Mosquitoes can spread quickly, but small actions at home and in our neighborhoods can make a big difference. Take a few minutes to check around your property, eliminate places where mosquitoes can breed, and encourage your neighbors to do the same.
Together, we can reduce mosquito populations, protect our families, and help keep our community safe.

The City of Largo looks forward to welcoming residents tomorrow, Wed, Sep 9, for the Community Town Hall: How Property Taxes Fund City Services, from 6-7:30pm at Horizon West Bay.
The town hall will include a presentation followed by a moderated panel discussion and Q&A. The discussion will be moderated by Dalia Dangerfield, anchor and multimedia journalist with Spectrum Bay News 9.
Before the program, City of Largo departments will be available in the Horizon West Bay lobby from 5-6pm to speak with residents about the services they provide and how those services are funded. Department representatives will also be available after the town hall from 7:30-8pm.
Questions can be submitted before or during the event at Largo.com/YourTaxDollar. Those who cannot attend in person can watch live at City of Largo, Florida USA or Largo.com/Watch
