Did you know? Father’s Day has roots at the YMCA. More than 110 years ago, Sonora Smart Dodd, who was raised by her single father, wanted to create a day to celebrate fatherhood. The first Father’s Day celebration was held at the Spokane YMCA on June 19, 1910.

Our Float Swim Lessons for ages 1–4 are off to a great start! 🏊‍♀️💙

A special thank you to Karen, whose patience, kindness, and understanding make such a difference with our little swimmers. She creates a fun and encouraging environment where children can build confidence and begin developing important water safety skills.

One of the most rewarding parts of camp is watching relationships grow. Our teens are building friendships, learning to work together, supporting one another, and creating memories that will last long after summer ends.

The Greater Ridgecrest YMCA is excited to host our Community Back-to-School Event on Saturday, August 8, from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM!

This event is all about helping local students and families prepare for a successful school year. We are currently looking for community partners, businesses, churches, and organizations interested in participating as vendors, providing resources, or donating school supplies.
