Goshin Jutsu Karate Do was first introduced in Laredo by Sensei Dan Smith, a student of Master Jerry Durant to to Johnny Rendon in 1968.

Sensei Johnny Rendon continued his training and was recognized by the Goshin Jutsu Karate organization of South Texas as Grand Master for dedication and devotion to the art of Goshin Jutsu Karate. His dedication to the art of karate has provided many students to achive the rank of black belt certification in the Art of Goshin Jutsu Karate Do
