There is a fire incident currently at 1214 Beltway. Because of the fire, the 1200 block of Beltway Parkway is temporarily closed. Use caution and expect delays. Use of alternate routes of travel is recommended.

The Laredo Police Department is currently responding to an ongoing incident in the 5200 block of Frijolillo Dr. Specialized units, including the SWAT Team and Negotiators, have been requested to the scene.

Building positive connections with our community starts with our youth! LPDs Community Relations Unit visited Dunamis Ministries Vacation Bible School, where officers handed out popsicles and spent time with the children as they enjoyed a day filled with fun, learning, and fellowship. There is currently a SWAT and police training scenario at United Day School at 1701 San Isidro. There is no cause for alarm or concern. This was a pre-planned training set so that we can be prepared for emergency responses. This scenario will be in place til 1 p.m.

Laredo Police are searching for runaway teen missing since May.
Laredo Police are requesting your assistance in locating runaway Alysson Martinez, age 16. Ms. Martinez was last seen on 05/27/26. Alysson is 5'0 in height, 100lbs, brown hair, brown eyes, and has a tattoo on her right wrist. Alysson was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black shorts. If anyone knows the whereabouts of this 16 year old minor, or if anyone has information on who could be harboring her, they are asked to contact Laredo Police at 795-2800 or Crime Stoppers at 727-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
