π¨ New Law Update for Texas Officials (HB 3369 / SB 2929)
Starting with the 2025β2026 school year, officials at UIL-sanctioned events now have the authority to remove disruptive spectators immediately β no prior warning required.

Protects officials from abuse and threats

Allows quick action to keep games safe and respectful
β
Applies to school/UIL athletic events only
Officials should still:
βοΈ Use sound judgment
