BASKETBALL SEASON HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN ‼️
Our officials got after it and we’re excited to be back. LBOC is excited to see returning veteran officials and welcome new faces on the court. 🏀 👏

🚨 New Law Update for Texas Officials (HB 3369 / SB 2929)

Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, officials at UIL-sanctioned events now have the authority to remove disruptive spectators immediately — no prior warning required.

✅ Protects officials from abuse and threats
✅ Allows quick action to keep games safe and respectful
✅ Applies to school/UIL athletic events only

Officials should still:
⚖️ Use sound judgment
🗣️ Work with school admins or security
📝 Document all incidents
